* What techniques do you use to keep feedback at a minimum while still
balancing with Spinal Tap-level volumes??
I know the no-budget scenario well.
With the Blues Jr., be sure the FAT switch is off. You probably know
that one.
Get a 20' instrument cable. $10-15.
Get any $20 guitar effects box. There are such things.
Pass-through the box without effects.
The 20' cable from box to amp gives you the flexbility to get way from
the amp.
Stand to the side of the amp as far as you can get -- not behind, not
ahead.
If you can spend more than $20 on a box, get a boss equalizer for
$90-100, and use it to tweak the feedback out.
